Halloween is the favorite holiday of many teens across America. The candy, atmosphere, and the chance to dress up reminds everyone of their childhood. The holiday helps promote creativity and the use of imagination.
With that, here are the top six Halloween costumes of 2017:
With Wonder Woman being the #1 superhero movie of 2017, Princess Diana of the Amazons tops our list.
Harley Quinn is arguably the most popular costume of 2016 thanks to the movie, Suicide Squad. This year the Joker’s toxic lover has dropped to the number two spot.
With the remake of Stephen King’s IT, Pennywise the Clown will most likely make an appearance on Halloween. If you see him near any storm drains, don’t clown around unless you want to be next.
Inspired by the classic musical Wicked and the movie The Wizard of Oz, the “Wicked Witch of the West” a.k.a Elphaba is an easy last-minute costume. All you need is a witch’s hat, black long sleeve shirt, green and black socks, and a pair of black sneakers!
Animal costumes are a must if you don’t know what to be this year. In the words of Karen Smith from Mean Girls, “I’m a mouse, duh.” This early 2000’s movie caused many girls to hit the streets and parties as Minnie Mouse or a cuter version of the rodent with black or grey paired with mouse ears from the Halloween Store.
The easiest costume on this list is definitely the inflatable dinosaur. But here’s a warning before you purchase this: this full body costume may be difficult to walk around in.
