Bill Nye, will make his comeback since his show from the 90’s “Bill Nye the Science Guy” on his new upcoming show on Netflix.
Titled “Bill Nye Saves the World,” the show is set to release on April 21st, with episodes consisting of topics in the “scientific” point of view, set to disprove myths and anti-scientific claims, reported The Science Explorer.
Some of the issues that will be talked about on the show are climate change, GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) and vaccines.
Different from the famously-known show “Bill Nye the Science Guy,” this show will take the format of a talk-show.
Consisting of thirteen episodes, each lasting about thirty minutes long (all released at the same time), it will have correspondents alongside Bill Nye including Karlie Kloss, Nazime Hussain and Emily Candrelli and guest stars including, Tim Gunn, Zach Braff, Rachel Bloom and other guests, stated The Huffington Post.
“We have guests, we have a panel of experts, we have what’s essentially a monologue, and we have comedy video pieces that are inserted,” Bill Nye said about the show.
In a phone interview the writer of the show, “You’re not going to solve global problems or address global issues without being optimistic. If you don’t think you can do anything about it, you won’t.”
Although that’s not all for Bill Nye. later on this year, as the New York Times described, the Science Guy will release a children’s book by the title of, “ Jack and the Geniuses,” as well as, “Everything All at Once: How Nerds Solve Problems.”
