Farmer’s Table is La Mesa’s trending restaurant. The restaurant is known for its healthy and organic options, as well as its rustic and welcoming atmosphere.
As you walk in, you are greeted by smiling hostesses who are ready to seat you. There is a wide selection of seating available, ranging from intimate booths to tables that will seat your entire group.
They also have outdoor seating with a bar the overlooks La Mesa Boulevard. Patio lamps are available to keep you warm well into winter break.
The menu offers a multitude of different types of food; it also caters to vegans and vegetarians.
We decided to try on Farmer’s Table’s breakfast spread, ordering apple juice, tangerine juice, the veggie omelet, the buttermilk pancakes with strawberries and cream, and the stuffed French toast.
The veggie omelet is a perfect vegetarian option for a healthy breakfast. This plate includes delicious roasted potatoes with a hint of rosemary and two pieces of any type of bread you choose.
The buttermilk pancakes are the perfect staple to any breakfast menu and Farmer’s Table proved just that. The pancakes came with strawberries and cream.
The French toast was stuffed with mascarpone and strawberries. Although it was a tasty item, it was very heavy and seemed as if it belonged on the dessert menu rather than the breakfast!
We particularly enjoyed the variety of juices to enjoy with our meal.
The service was exceptional, and our food came out fairly quickly.
Although we went for breakfast, which is what Farmer’s Table is known for, they do offer lunch and dinner as well. The restaurant is pet-friendly, so you are welcome to bring your furry companion along for the meal.
