Matt Reeves, director of “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” shared his excitement for the creation of the film by noting that he has always admired “the Batman stories since [he] was a child,” and that he is “incredibly honored and excited to be working with Warner Bros. to bring an epic and emotional new take on the Caped Crusader to the big screen,” recalled Collider, an entertainment news site.
